Mentors
Mentors are wonderful to have, especially if you are new to Boxers. However the problem lies here, every breeder tells newbie’s to find a mentor. But NONE want to be the Mentor. Effectively leaving the newbie in a catch 22.
We always welcome newbie’s with open arms, everyone has to start somewhere and unlike many breeders we do not forget that we to started at the bottom. We recommend having several mentors. This is a good way to learn the different views and practices from others and from those you may then develop your own. No one breeder is perfect, Mentors are meant to be used for guidance and advice, however a good mentor WILL NOT force their own beliefs or practices on you. A GOOD mentor will guide you in the right direction while allowing you to develop and form your own unique beliefs and practices.
